For the past three years, I have had the honour and the privilege of working closely with Joy Ross within a mentor/mentee capacity.

Joy has remained steadfast and committed to both her personal growth and her professional development journey. Her indomitable spirit coupled with her transformational evolution of self has been immensely remarkable and fascinating to witness.

Joy is a deeply empathic, wise, and courageous woman. She fully enriches the lives of others due to the  immeasurable value and pivotal impact she both embodies and imparts as a phenomenal human being.

I know Joy will continue to encounter great success with any endeavour or pursuit she feels an intuitively deep calling to pursue.

Joy is one person who will always have my respect, support, and encouragement!

I met Joy twenty-five years ago.

She brings an enchanting spirit of playful reverence to everything she does. Collaborations with Joy inspire healing, clarity and transformation.

She exudes passion and is a consummate professional who is committed to personal mastery and that of her clients and students.

I have known Joy for over thirty years. For a time she worked as the secretary in my Massage Therapy Clinic, Kitchener location. After closing this location, I continued to see patients part-time in her Aesthetics Clinic for 15 years.

We collaborated over the years on numerous projects, both business and personal, always smoothly executed and with successful outcomes. Joy is dynamic, creative, industrious and a quintessential professional. Her smile, although I cannot see it due to visual impairment, is in her voice. In the long run, Joy is what she is!

It has been a privilege to have Joy as a colleague, teacher, collaborator, and friend. I was drawn to her because of her professionalism and followed Joy as she moved toward her goal of owning her own salon.

Her unwavering commitment to advancing her skills, inspired me to further develop my own. After I completed teacher's college, Joy taught, and continues to teach a variety of subject matter to my students.

She brings her creativity and passion to our numerous ongoing collaborations. Joy generously volunteered to organize and execute a “Manicures for Cancer” fundraiser, “Live Art Event” promoting arts in school, and supporting at risk students in the Cosmetology Club.

As our professional careers merged our friendship evolved. I am so thankful that she has been and will continue to be a valuable asset in my life… and a true friend.
